A passionate learner and innovator, Mr. Devang Mehta has been immersed in the world of industrial safety since 2009. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and advanced diplomas in Solid & Surface Designing, CAM, and CAE, he combines technical expertise with a sharp entrepreneurial vision.
Having grown through the strong foundation of his family enterprise, Jayco Safety Products, Mr. Mehta gained extensive experience in product development, production management, and technical training—especially in metal and textile-based safety products and equipment. His journey there shaped a deep understanding of the importance of precision, innovation, and reliability in safety manufacturing.
Today, as a Director at Promax Safety & Health Pvt. Ltd., he is channeling that legacy into a new direction—building a company that redefines safety standards through innovation, integrity, and technological advancement. His focus lies in developing next-generation industrial safety solutions, ensuring Promax remains at the forefront of protection, performance, and progress.
Beyond his corporate role, Mr. Mehta had also contributed to the larger safety ecosystem as the Joint Secretary of the Safety Appliances Manufacturers Association (SAMA), India, and an active member of its Technical Committee. Through his efforts, he helped shape BIS product standards, promote industry best practices, and drive awareness about workplace safety across sectors.
